Raptors pulled a 111-100 victory over the Knicks on Sunday @ ACC.. It sure is a nice bounce back from the ugly 30 points lost to the Knicks at MSG last week.

Amazing block by Shannon Brown, but it was called foul. Looks pretty clean to me though.

NBA Players using Twitter

Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (known as tweets).

Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends.

Twitter was found in 2006 and rapidly gained popularity ever since. As of today, it is the third largest social network behind Myspace and Facebook. Many celebrities and politicians are also using this service to expand their reach.

There are more NBA players getting into this with Shaq (the Most Dominant Ever) leading the pack. It is a great way for real fans to follow their players.

Below is a list of NBA players using Twitter:
Baron Davis
Chris Bosh
Danny Granger
Dwight Howard
Jason Richardson
Jason Thompson
Jalen Rose
Kyle Korver
Marcus Williams
Shaq
Steve Nash
Troy Murphy
Tyson Chandler

Matrix Reloaded

The Matrix made his Raptors debut on Wednesday night. It is not something a Raptors fan wants to see though. With CB4 sitting out with injury, the Raptors is pretty much out of it after the first 24 minutes of the game. To be fair though, it is only the first game and we are hosting the second(best?) team in the East. It should get better after CB4 came back and Marion gel in with the team.

As usual, King James just plow through the Raptors defense and almost recorded a triple double with 20points, 9 boards and 9 dimes.

Obama Gets Autographed Shaq Sneaker

Obama got a nice shiny sneaker from Shaq instead of an old pair of dress shoes thrown by some protester. That's a Change.

Bulls-Kings Trade

The Bulls sent Drew Gooden, Andres Nocioni, and Cedric Simmons to the Kings for Brad Miller and John Salmons on Wednesday night.

The Bulls is just 2.5 games away from the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. This should give them enough juice to make a serious run.

2009 Slam Dunk Contest

Nate Robinson takes home the trophy with a dunk over Dwight Howard.. looking back at the previous years:

Past Winners
2000—Vince Carter, Toronto
2001—Desmond Mason, Seattle
2002—Jason Richardson, Golden State
2003—Jason Richardson, Golden State
2004—Fred Jones, Indiana
2005—Josh Smith, Atlanta
2006—Nate Robinson, New York
2007—Gerald Green, Boston
2008—Dwight Howard, Orlando

The 2000 dunk contest is so great that it has been really difficult to bring it to the same level in the past nine years. This year is no exception.

The duel between ex-raptors VC and TMAC are still regards as one of the best all time.

At least LeBron James may participate in the 2010 event, which should give us something to look forward for the 2010 All Star Game.

Jason Kapano 3-Point Shootout 3peat Fail

It is disappointing to see that Jason Kapano fell short of a three-peat for the 3-point shootout... nothing seems to be going right with the Raptors this season.
